I watched Eileen's Art Talk with Ashley Hawkins of Studio Two Three. It was really interesting hearing about careers in art and how she started her own nonprofit. I thought it was really interesting how she said how when you become an artist you become an entrepreneur. I feel like that part of the creative industries isn't talked about as much. I thought her advice of being willing to make work that sells and getting an education in business was interesting and very insightful. I also found it really interesting that when she was talking about how even though she doesn't necessarily find enough time for herself to make her own art, she still finds a creative outlet in her problem solving and just being surrounded in the studio itself.

I did two figure drawings each took about an hour each. I ended up taking the second one for my portfolio. It was a little difficult to find a willing model in my household.
I started my sculpture project but I stopped and started to work on two pieces for my portfolio. I ended up doing the watercolor in one sitting (a long sitting about 5 hrs because I didn't know what I was doing).
