I wrote on to the cellophane and decided to switch the colors of the logos so that they match with their perceived political side and decided to present them as liberal on the left and conservative on the right when looking through the glasses to force the audience to look through the glasses. I only had enough foam core to put it on the ends of the glasses but when I stood it all up it still wasn't enough to keep it up. So now I'm putting some leftover metal thing(i dont know what it's called) to hopefully give the cardboard some structure.

This week I finished the main painting for the pieces and gluing the pieces together. I also realized I forgot to cut out the piece that attaches the side pieces to the main glasses part. So next week I need to cut out that piece, paint it, glue everything together, do painting touch ups, and attach the cellophane. I've been thinking about maybe writing news sources on the corresponding lens or writing news story titles but the various titles according to which side of the political spectrum they land on. Also in the pictures they are all sitting on top of each other with pillows on top of them for two reasons: the first being to remind my family to not step on my project and the second being I realized even after the paint dried the cardboard hadn't completely dried and was still floppy so if I dried it leaning on something the cardboard would dry curved so I laid it down with some what of weights on top in hopes of correctly the curviness.
This week I cut out the rest of my card board pieces for the ear/side parts and then spackled all of the holes and creases, which took much longer than expected. Also for my home projects I did research of how to make sugar glass on youtube and other online resources. For my other project I wrote a script and designed a storyboard for my short film.
